The Ministry of Compassion is in need of young adult volunteers. Due to the COVID-19 virus situation, Catholic Charities has seen a nearly 200% increase in the number of people served each day in the Emergency Assistance Food Pantry. Catholic charities is seeking individuals to help with sorting and bagging groceries, and restocking shelves. This is all behind-the-scenes work and does not involve contact with the public. If you are able, please consider volunteering for even a few hours one day next week. CDC guidelines are in place to help keep everyone safe and masks and gloves are provided for volunteers. In order to not have too many people in the warehouse at one time, please email volunteer@cceok.org or call 918-508-7125 to find out available days and times. you should not volunteer at Catholic Charities if you or anyone in your family is ill, showing any symptoms associated with the COVID-19 virus, or you have been exposed to anyone suspected of having or diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus. Additionally, please wait 14 days to volunteer if you or anyone in your home left the country for Spring Break, or if you have recently traveled out of state.
