St. Anne Community,
This afternoon Bishop Konderla released an official decree concerning COVID-19. All public Masses have been suspended in our diocese until April 8th, unless otherwise noted. No private Masses will be celebrated in homes. We will stream Mass via Facebook Live so that parishioners who wish to do so may still actively participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. We encourage all to make an act of spiritual communion daily since we cannot receive Christ sacramentally. Confession will still take place at our regularly scheduled times. However, new guidelines have been enacted in order to ensure the health and well-being of our Priests and parishioners - see letter from Bishop Konderla for full details. At this time St. Anne Church will remain open to the public for private prayer and devotion, though this is subject to change in the future. If you should visit the church to pray, please practice social distancing and use antibacterial hand sanitizer or wipes. The church office and campus will remain closed until (at least) April 8th. During this time, no on-campus ministry meetings may take place. Should you have an emergency for which you would require a priest - anointing of the sick, prayers for the dying - please call 918.607.8124.
O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us:
He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection.
