IMPORTANT HEALTH & WELLNESS INFORMATION
Take comfort that we are taking actions to be health conscious while celebrating Mass. For this reason, we have suspended reception of the Precious Blood, removed holy water from our common fonts, and are no longer shaking hands at the sign of peace.
We do not anticipate that we will cancel public Masses as has happened in other countries. Amidst every age and in every situation, the power and presence of God in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is a welcome and healing gift for all of us. We would never want to deprive us as a parish family from such an extraordinary and life-giving gift! The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the Source and Summit of our lives! Blessed be God!
Practically speaking, we would encourage any parishioners who are feeling ill (coughing, sneezing, have a fever, recovering from a recent illness) or are in fragile health to refrain from attending Mass and make an act of spiritual communion (see below). Know that we are praying for and with you!
An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
HAVE YOU COMPLETED THE DISCIPLESHIP SURVEY?
Please help us by participating in a 10-15 minute survey online. The survey can be accessed through March 23rd and will ask you to reflect on your own spiritual growth and enable you to provide feedback on our parish’s efforts to help you grow. All responses will be completely confidential and the parish will only receive information about the community as a whole. You will also have an opportunity to complete the survey after daily and Sunday Mass or you can obtain a paper copy by contacting the Parish Office at 918-251-4000. Thanks for your help with this important project!
