From Our Parish Nurse:
'An Ounce of Prevention' for the common cold, flu, bronchitis, and pneumonia...IT'S IN YOUR HANDS! Many things you touch - door handles, bathroom faucets, money - are touched by thousands of others. Think of all those germs! If you wash your hands the right way at the right times, you can protect yourself from diseases. Always wash with soap and clean water. Wash palms, wrists, backs of hands, fingers, and under fingernails. Wash your hands for at least 15 seconds, and rinse well. Dry with a clean towel. When should you wash your hands? Make it a habit to always wash your hands before you prepare or eat food, after you go to the bathroom, after you cough or sneeze, and anytime you've been around someone who's sick.
